Respect yourself

Have confidence in yourself, confident people also tend to respect themselves. If you lack confidence it is time you start trusting in yourself and your abilities. Don’t’ allow other people to let you down.
Treat others with respect and by doing so you will develop respect for yourself. As you treat others respectfully you will also be treated respectfully. Those who treat others with a lack of respect often lack respect for themselves. Treat others with respect regardless of how they treat you, and realize that you are helping to teach them self-respect while building respect for yourself at the same time.
Surround yourself with positive people, who respect themselves and others, who are an encouragement in your life. Who tells you when you are wrong?
By being in the presence of those who are positive and confident, you will find yourself becoming infused with their enthusiasm, self-respect and positive energy. It is much healthier than being around those who are constantly putting themselves and others down.
Choose your friends wisely. Pick quality over quantity. People often like to have many friends because it makes them feel popular and important, but having a few friends of good character is worth more than a large circle of friends and superficial popularity. If your friends bring you down or disrespect you in any way, it may be time to re-evaluate your friendship. Don’t allow your friends to make you do things that you don’t want to do.

Two people come out of a building into a story

There was a couple who went to old mutual building in Joburg, the wife said to her husband you can go up alone my love I will wait for you down stairs I’m very scared of lifts. The husband took a lift from ground floor to 21st floor. While he was inside the lift on his way back to the ground floor he felt that something can go wrong and then he get out of the lift and took the stairs. The wife heard a commotion as if the building was falling down, and that was the lift her husband supposed to be in, the wife closed her eyes and prayed for her husband.

Suddenly the lift opened the people inside it were all dead, the wife cried and the husband came down from the stairs and the wife said I thank God for you my love. The paramedics and the news reporters rushed to the scene, the owner of the company was interviewed and he, apologized for what happened and said all those who lost their family members will receive one million rand each.

The wife got angry and said to her husband why did you get out of that lift stupid man you see now that we will remain poor the rest of our lives.
You thought that you were clever but you are a stupid.

The power of a praying wife

Prayer is your declaration of Dependence. When you don’t pray it’s your declaration of independence.
Prayer works like glue in a marriage. Prayer is like a window to the heart of your spouse. We rarely stay angry at someone when we listen in on their conversations with God. People reveal more about themselves in prayer than any other form of communication. They drop the excuses and masks.
They open up and are vulnerable before God. Because prayer is intimacy with God, a natural by-product of praying together is intimacy with each other.
• Pray for your husband—not so much for your sake but for his that he won’t miss the blessing God has for him.
• WIVES: Pray over your husband’s clothes, that God will protect him physically, mentally, and spiritually —protecting his heart, so it will be fully yielded to God’s ways of doing things.
• Pray for your marriage as you have never prayed before. Ask God to increase your affection toward your husband and to increase your husband’s affection toward you. Thank God for every good quality your husband has and for every sweet memory you have shared. Plead with God to deliver you from any unforgiveness or bitterness you still hold in your heart. Allow God to give you beauty for ashes. Invite Him to become the center of your life and the Lord of your marriage.
• Never underestimate the power of praying together. God is really is in the business of answering prayer. He can break through our stubborn spirits if we give Him the opportunity. I know it’s hard to invite Him in when a quarrel is in process, but if we will do it, He will surprise us with joy and forgiveness.

With God things are possible

With God all things are possible

I am a mother, a wife and a student, when I look at the past I get emotional because it’s been a hard road for me with so many challenges. I had to look for a job because there was no income at home, and I always have a dream of going to tertiary. I got a job and pay my fees, now I have my own home, I worked so hard to get where I am.

I’m really blessed and thankful to God for my blessing and I don’t believe that he brought me this far. To those who are currently depressed because of relationship problems, a marriage is falling apart or can’t find a job. Don’t give up God will provide for all your needs.

The car you want, that house you have been waiting for is on the way, as it is said in the bible there’s a time for everything. Pray until something happens, cry before the Lord because through tears there’s a breakthrough. Appreciate the time and season that you are in, resolve to be patient and believe in your future and the Lord will make it happen in his time.
